Ok..... so apparently because my life is so interesting, *hahaha* it was suggested that i start blogging. So far I know one other person that blogs and I have to admit i have had some serious LOL moments while reading her blog. I think she knows who she is too. It is only the 19th of September and I feel like I have so much to share, for this month already.
Where do I start, hmmm maybe September 1st, that was the first day of school and OH how exciting that day was. It all started when my boys who are 8 and 4 were standing at the end of our driveway waiting for the bus. Dressed in their new clothes and looking all spiffy! I hear my oldest son screaming, there are cows on the road, well not to worry it has happened before, my neighbours cows periodically get loose. However, this time was different! My boys are now running to the house because the cows are running down the highway towards my driveway... I am not talking 2 or 3 cows here I am talking like 50!!!! First thing, shut the gate that way they won't enter my yard and freak my horses out, that would so not be fun, 27 horses PLUS 50 cows running free. NIGHTMARE. So being smart we shut the gate, some $*$hole decides to drive up behind the already panicky cows and honks at them, first of all I didn't realize cows could run fast and secondly as my youngest son pointed out, they have projectile diareaha while running.
Well after the initial shock of them running past my driveway it sets in that they are turning into my second driveway and now running through my brand new pasture fencing, thank god the horses were in their paddocks and not pasture. OMG now i have lots of fence to repair, not a good day. Left a message for my dad though, took him about 3 years to have a herd of cows, and me..... well about 5 minutes. I will post pictures. What a morning.....
